StewedSTL 1.10 – Stewed by Niche w/Gerard Craft of Niche, Mike Emerson of Pappy’s Smokehouse & Jeff Lehman

Holy shit guys.

We were super excited to have Gerard Craft from Niche, Brasserie and Taste Bar on the show, and he showed up for our show with a handful of surprises:

1. He wanted to drink Stag Beer

2. He brought Jeff Lehman, the patron saint of St. Louis chefs

3. He brought Mike Emerson of Pappy's Smokehouse

When this crew showed up in the studio (aka Mike's basement), we tossed out our agenda for the evening and just went with the flow. The result is almost 2.5 hours of spirited conversation about world-class cooking, restaurants and barbecue. We hope you enjoy listening to this special show as much as we enjoyed being there.

Thanks for listening.

StewedSTL Crouton – Crack for Knives

We came up with the idea of a "crouton" during our 1.1 show with Josh Galliano - about an hour and a half into a two hour show we decided we needed to do an "after hours" as well.

While none of our "Stewed After Dark" segments have turned into a show we would like/want/would be proud to share with you, there are moments that are worth sharing.

Our first is this moment with Josh, where we talks about the time his knifes were stolen and traded for crack. This recording is available here and in the podcast section of iTunes.

Enjoy.

StewedSTL 1.4 – The Adventures of Stewed w/ Eric Scholle of Farmhaus

Farmhaus manager Eric Scholle joined us in the studio for an especially drunk edition of Stewed - fueled by tall boys of Busch Beer and shots of Malort. We discuss the restaurant's recent accolades from Food & Wine Magazine,  Eric's approach to the Farmhaus beverage program and what it is like having your life saved by a three-legged cat.  It was a fun and very liquid show. Enjoy.
